Home Alone

It is said that necessity is the mother of invention. Well, with the Imbrocks visiting the states for a week, I was home alone, so learning to hunt and gather (read: cook) for myself became a necessity. What was the invention? The Man's Cookbook.

Every platter in the Man's Cookbook follows just three simple rules: 3-5-15. Three or fewer steps. Five or fewer ingredients. Fifteen or fewer minutes. You get bonus points if you use only the simplest ingredients, and if the dish is so low-maintenance that you can check your email or use the bathroom while it's cooking. Extra points for open flames, too.

the scrambled remnants of the egg used to fry it.
